Helpful project
So far, I'm impressed. I watched a youtube video on setting up & using qBittorent before installing. It was worth it as I navigated the prerequisite Python installation as well as learning how to go about linking my torrent sources. The installation was a breeze, and within minutes I was downloading. I've noticed varying download speeds but that is contingent on many factors. Don't forget to install a good VPN app before doing anything. It's not cheap, but its worth every cent to protect yourself & your machine.
Good
I don't write reviews often. For one reason: it takes some time to use some program and get to know is it good or not. I don't use torrents often. In the past I used utorrent, but it got crappy with adware, or God knows what else. So, open source project was the natural choice. After some months of usage, I'm very pleased. I don't mess with settings, just set download and upload speed at home, so that it doesn't congest bandwidth. At work, it runs at max speed without problems. I'm developer myself and I see that guys put a real effort into it. It doesn't crash, nor it shows sign of bugs. Simple, nice interface, does the job without the hassle. I sincerely recommend it.
